Yes, you read that right we will test it for free and help you balance your pool or spa water chemicals.

We use a digital water tester, the WaterLink Spin Touch is a professional grade water testing system, providing results in 2 minutes.

How to collect a sample of pool or spa water :

  1. Preparation: Ensure the pool pump has been running for at least one hour to circulate the water thoroughly.
  2. Location: Choose a spot in the deep end, ideally away from return jets, skimmers, or floating dispensers.
  3. Collection Technique:
    1. Use a clean, dry plastic container.
    2. Hold the container upside down and submerge it to elbow depth (approximately 12–18 inches below the surface).
    3. At that depth, turn the container right-side up to let the water in.
  4. Testing: Cap the container immediately. For the most accurate reading, perform the test or deliver it to a professional within 20 minutes to 2 hours; avoid leaving the sample in direct sunlight or a hot car.

Common Mistakes to Avoid :

  • Surface Sampling: Don't just dip at the surface; sunlight and air can alter chemical readings there.
  • Stagnant Water: Never take a sample if the pump hasn't been running.
  • After Rain or Chemicals: Wait at least 24–48 hours after adding chemicals or heavy rain before testing to allow the water to balance.
